The Lebanon Special School District serves Lebanon area students in kindergarten through eighth grades. The Board consists of three current members.

Steve Jones

Steve Jones has served on the board since August of 1988. He has served as Chairman of the Board since September 1992. Mr. Jones is the owner/broker of Century 21 Jones Realty & Auction. He is active in all sports for the youth of Wilson County. He is former President of the Lebanon Kiwanis Club and is still an active member. Mr. Jones is a lifelong resident of Wilson County. He is married to the former Nancy Graves and they have two children; Dusty and Linsley.

Joel Thacker

Joel Thacker graduated from the University of Tennessee at Martin with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications and Business and a Master of Science degree in Sports Management. He has served on the board since August of 2002. He currently is the Advertising & Marketing Manager at the Nashville Superspeedway. He is an active member at Immanuel Baptist Church and the Lebanon Chamber of Commerce. Joel is married to Jo Ellen Thacker, an ESL Specialist at LSSD. They are the proud parents to a beautiful daughter, Bretton Belle Thacker!

 

Mark Tomlinson

Mark Tomlinson has servced on the board since September of 2006. Mr. Tomlinson works in the service field as a developer and builder. Mark is married to Lorie Tomlinson, and he is a proud father of four children. Two of the four children are currently enrolled in the Lebanon Special School District.
