Pre-K Registration Information 2026-2027
Begin the Pre-Kindergarten application process for the 2026-2027 school year.
Pre-Kindergarten Requirements:
- Children must be four years of age on/by August 15, 2026
- Children must live in the Lebanon Special School District
- The Pre-K program is voluntary
Eligibility:
- The Grantee shall enroll children residing in the geographic area served by the LEA who are four years of age on or before August 15 for the current school year and who are “at risk.”
- For this program, “at risk” shall be defined as follows:
- Children with or without disabilities who are:

- four years of age on or before August 15; and members of families with incomes that meet the eligibility requirements for free or reduced-priced lunch; or
-
- Dependent children who are four years of age on or before August 15, whose parent was killed, died as a direct result of injuries received because of war, or has been officially reported as a prisoner of war or missing in action.
- Children with or without disabilities who are:
- Certified Birth Certificate
- Two (2) Proofs of Residency (See Acceptable Proof of Residency in Forms & Links below)
- Tennessee Department of Health Certificate of Immunization (this is a document provided by a health care physician, which includes shots and a current physical with the doctor's signature)
- Income Eligibility Form (See Downloadable Forms below)
- Proof of Income (See Part D of the Income Eligibility Form)
- Child Custody Documentation (if applicable)

Schedule
- LSSD 2026-2027 Pre-K Calendar
- 5 days a week, following the LSSD Pre-K Schedule
- Student day is 6 hours, 7:30-1:30 M-F
- If you need after-school care for your child during the school year, please contact the SACC department (615-449-7422).
Transportation
- Parents will be responsible for providing transportation.
- Applications must be submitted online through Skyward.
- Specified income documentation MUST be submitted for ALL adults in the household.
- All applicants will need to be screened before enrollment to determine the best placement in the program.
- Students who do not meet income requirements will be placed on a waiting list.
Acceptance
- If you qualify for the LSSD Pre-K program, you will receive an email from the Pre-K Supervisor.
- If you qualify and are on the waiting list, your email will state that you are on the waiting list.
Waiting List
- Eligible applicants after the 200 seats are filled.
- Any applicant who does not meet the income eligibility requirements
- Limited placements may be available after September 15 for non-eligible applicants if all eligible applicants have been placed and seats are still available.
- If a spot becomes available, we will contact you throughout the year.
