Lebanon Special School District's enrollment and registration process is completed online using Skyward (our student information system).

Students who are enrolling in LSSD for the first time should enroll online as a new student. New Student online enrollment is a two-step process. You first create an account and then you will receive an email with an enrollment link, your username, and password. (Note: If you currently have a child in LSSD and are enrolling a new student you can choose the New Student Online Enrollment link found in Skyward Family Access.)

Listed below are documents that parents should be prepared to upload during the registration process. If you are unable to upload these documents, you will be required to provide them to your child's school prior to enrollment.
(Note: Kindergarten students must be five years of age on/by August 15, 2023. Additional documentation is required for Pre-Kindergarten Enrollment.)
 
  • Birth Certificate or other official record of birth 
  • Tennessee Department of Health Certificate of Immunization*
  • Two (2) Proofs of Residence (Click here to view acceptable proofs of residence)
  • Current proof of custody of the child if parents are divorced, separated or unmarried
 
*To obtain a Tennessee Department of Health Certification of Immunization, parents should contact their child's healthcare provide or the local Health Department to schedule an appointment for a kindergarten physical. At that time, any additional shots that may be needed will be given to meet state requirements for entrance into school and a Certificate of Immunization will be issued. Students entering 7th grade are required to provide proof of immunization booster for Tdap and Varicella (Chicken Pox).
Parents/Guardians of returning LSSD students will complete the returning student enrollment verification process through Skyward Family Access prior to the start of the new school year. All current LSSD students (grades PK-8) have a Skyward Family Access Account. If you do not have your login information, please contact your child's school. If you have more than one child returning to LSSD you will use the same Skyward Family Access account to register each child. Once you begin the verification process, you will be able to save your information and resume working on it at a later time if needed. However, once you click on submit you will no longer be able to access it.

NOTE:  Students entering 7th grade at Walter J. Baird or Winfree Bryant Middle Schools are required to provide proof of immunization booster for Tdap and Varicella (Chicken Pox).  Proof of immunization must be on the Tennessee Immunization Form prior to school entrance.
