Program Procedures

The Alternative School Program was established to provide students who struggle in non-academic areas of the educational process with an alternative placement in order to continue to meet academic standards while focusing on behavior, self regulation, and social/emotional competencies.  

 

Students may be placed in the Alternative School Program by the LSSD Disciplinary Committee based on the outcome of a hearing or by assignment due to special circumstances.
