Alexis Hamnett, Jones Brummett Elementary's Art Teacher, was awarded the TAEA's Elementary Art Educator of the Year Award, a statewide award recognizing an elementary art education in Tennessee. The award was presented last weekend at Middle Tennessee State University during the TAEA awards ceremony and Annual Conference.
